Default 2002 Vulcan 1500 Fuel Pump / FI not getting power

Thanks in Advance, yall D'best mechanics I know!

Bikes sat 2 years after back surgery, cleaned fuel tank, fuel pump (works with direct power)

No FI light when keyed on

Power to white/red wire only on relay

Changed with working relay, still same

Battery terminals cleaned, wires under seat jiggled/checked for connectivity

Any ideas where to go from here? Ignition switch, diode. ecu?

    Thanks

    Drifter Joe

Did you try to start the bike before you cleaned tank, etc?
What was the problem at that point?
Does it now crank/no start or ???
Does the fuel pump run with initial key on?
What is the battery voltage, key on?
Do the running lights come on?

    Thanks Sfair,
No fuel pump power at relay, No FI light
    starter turns over, no fuel
didnt try bike before tank and pump cleaning, bike worked when parked
battery voltage 12.34, and yes the running lights come on.
tried new relay from sister bike, no help....tried existing relay IN sister bike relay faulty running bike would not power fuel pump. So I have 2 problems,a bad relay and Im thinking maybe the ecu or diode not opening relay.

    Could you do this test:
Key on, take voltage reading on all four wires of fuel pump relay and post back. Be sure and take the readings at the instant the key is turned on. Repeat the key on procedure if you cannot do all four within a couple of seconds.
Is 12.34v the battery voltage, key ON?

    Post back.
