Good afternoon, i have a 88 kx 80 i purchased with no stator. well i ripped down the entire motor and rebuilt it crank,main berrings, seals the whole 9. i recived the ricky stator i ordered yesterday. installed it and it fired up first kick!! wow!! 20 seconds later it quit purring... so after 2-3 mins i kick at it again and samething all over again. so i guess my question is why??? ive checked all wiring and grounds, could the cdi or coil be playing tricks on me or are those parts that just do or dont?? or should i be looking more at the carb??? float height too high or low?? im kinda baffeled with this at the moment,and was hoping someone on here may be able to offer me some help.... im a newbie on here but not on a bike lol. well thanks in advance for anyone whom might be able too offer me a little guidance.
