can a dealership test my IC igniter?

I'm still having electrical problems...so I took my bike to someone else to look at. He thinks it my IC igniter. Is there any way for a dealership to test it other than putting it on some other bike and seeing if it works? I followed the manuakl test and it seems good. I've put lots of time and too much money in to stop now, at the same time I don't have the money to blow on a new igniter unless I know that's the problem.
Anyone in AZ that can help me test mine by substituting my igniter for yours?
And would jumping my battery off my truck fry my igniter?
