    Question 2001 KX250 clutch problems?

With the motor off the bike in gear and clutch pulled it will not roll without sliding the rear tire. The engine can be either hot or cold it doesn't matter. The engine starts good only in neutral and shifts good. When pulling out the clutch feels grabby, but after that shifts good. I have only had the bike a week and this is my first 2-stroke. Please help.

have you adjusted the clutch correclty ? might be a good idea to change the oil out and make sure its the correct oil. might be the P.O. got it hot and warped the clutch plates (steels) could be it was beat on and the clutch basket is notched and needs filed/replaced.
