Don't even waste any time with a multimeter. Cut both sets of wires, and twist or solder the ends leading into the bike together. You don't need the switches. They just fail on the road when you least expect it.
Mine have been deleted (before I bought the bike). I just make sure it is in N by rolling it a tad, turn on the key, and hit the button. No need to pull in the clutch. -Scruffy

Sounds like the kick stand switch. I would doubt the clutch switch.
You can by-pass it like Scruffy said and that will tell you what you want to know. If you want to make it work again, then you can get another at the Kaw store and reinstall it. Good Luck Jim |
