Trouble starting 2005 ninja250

My 2005 ex250 was bought brand new and i have had no probs with it until now. over night i couldn't start it up. I used a booster batt to jump it and it started right up. though it did run eradically(i played with the high beam and it actually ran better???!!!) it does not die out on me. which is why i'm convinced it is something electric that is the culprit. all connects seem to be good so do the relay and the starter as well the ground. at first the relay would click and the on lights would dim out, but now they wont even come on and no action happens when i hit starter button. any help is so greatly appreciated.

get a new battery, they probably didn't do the inservice right when they charged your battery. when you get the new one make sure you get a full charge on it before you install it.

Thanks will try and it does seem to make sense.
