Default Tach and Speedo 750 VULCAN

Hello all, I have two questions about my 06 Vulcan 750. First, I know the speedo and tach are mounted on rubber bushings for vibration, but how loose is loose. Compared to the speedo, the tach is half again as loose. I brought it back to the dealer and they said "thats the way its supposed to be" it just seems way too loose compared to the speedo. Second question, according to my gps, my speedo is showing 6 mph faster that actual speed. Is this normal to be off by 6 mph? or should I bring it in for a replacement. I know that the speedo isnt exact, but geeze, 6 mph difference?

Comments welcome.

you can usually figure the speed to be around 10 to 15% off on the high side. there are several articles out there on this.

My Tach On My 2004 Vn750 Is Twice As Loose As The Speedo.
Any Way To Tighten It Up A Bit To Be The Same As The Speedo.
