Need to get new sprockets and chain. I took the small plate off of the main cover and there is a threaded stud coming out with nut, etc. What is that and do I simply remove the nut and snap ring, etc.
I obviously have the 4 other cover bolts out and the shifter off. I can see that is going to be a bit sticky to get out (off of the shifter stud). Ya so that is where I am at. What is that behind the small cover and what to do with it. O ya, The 4 indicator lights between the gauges. Top - Neutral 2nd down - high beam light? 3rd down - oil pressure? bottom - brake light Why would my brake indicator light be flashing? I never checked to see if the actual brake light was flashing..... but it had done this once before for a day and then stopped. It started again yesterday and is still doing it. Kinda weird patterns, when I accelerate moderatly hard it stops flashing. When I cruise, it flashes steady about 1 flash every second or two. sometimes though it does 2 flashes pause... then 2 flashes pause... when I brake, the indicator stays on as usual. Thanks for any insight, Brad |
