EX500 turn signal switch

OK, having a good week - got my permanant tags, and I just ordered a KisanTech "Signal Minder" kit for my 500 (woohoo for running lights!) I don't have the unit yet, but looking ahead... I know i'm going to have to do a simple "plug and play" switch of the old turn signal box for the new one, but I don't have a maintence manual yet, just the regular users manual that comes with the bike. My problem is, I don't know where turn signal box is - and in the interest of protecting my baby (making the screws last longer, no scratches, etc.) I would like to avoid any unnecessary disassembly trying to find it. Can anybody give me a description of where it is and if it's hidden away, how to access it? It's a 2004, if that helps.

P.S. Oh yeah, if this information is in the owner's manual and I just missed it, go ahead and point and laugh, and then tell me what page

Ok - after some fumbling around and an adventure in figuring out how to remove the aft right fairing I finally got the thing installed. The running lights are awesome - I'm so happy
