Default Advice needed, running on 3 cylinders

Hi, its not one of my Kawasaki's that has the problem its my Yamaha XJ750 Seca.
I could really use some help Im out of ideas.
There is fuel getting through, the valves are opening & closing there seems to be no sparks to cylinder #3, the exhaust header pipe is not getting hot for that cylinder.
I changed the spark plugs & the plug caps for new ones, it was still not running on #3 cylinder, I used my spare ZX600C coils & wires with yet another set of plug caps, pulling #3 cap off made it want to stop running now but it still wouldnt run on all 4 cylinders when I rode the bike.
The engine starts immediately every time so I ruled out low compression on #3 but when I take out the plug on that cylinder the piston crown is wet with fuel, it runs just fine with the plug out too so I guess its not even running on that cylinder at idle.
I tried a different TCI (igniter) but it still wont play.
I got the genuine Yamaha tool to block off the YICS passages while I synch'd the carbs with a Morgan Carbtune, they all read nice & level.
So now I am running out of ideas & ready to sell the bike so please... if anyone can help please tell me where I am going wrong
Thanks in anticipation
Nige

It is getting sparks to that cylinder, turns out the float in that carb is either sticking or damaged.... carbs coming off for a look tonight
