Hi, new to group here, can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the crank seals on a 1992 kx250 without splitting the case. I have a No idle large amounts of smoke and fouling plug problem that wasn't fixed by changing the jetting or the piston,rings or cleaning the kips valve. I built this bike out of a box and this is the first time I've ran it and it smokes and blows oil out the pipe, granted I haven't run it long enough to see a drop in tranny oil but I'm sure the mixture is fresh and correct at 40:1

im taking a guess here since i dont have a manual in front of me and all i can go by is the micro-fiche for your bike but it looks like your out of luck. looks like the seals go in first then the main bearings , if thats the case then your gonnna have to pull it apart to do it. sounds like your on the right track though.
