Default no crank intermitant ex250

i am new on the forum. i have an 06 ex250 ninja that i got new in may of 06. sometimes when i hit the starter button nothing happens- no click no crank no nothing. i have left it at the dealer twice and it won't act up for them of course. yesterday it was at its worst, which gave me time to check a couple of things. 1) no power was getting to the starter. 2) when i jumpered the small wires on the selenoid it would crank key on or off, started fine with key on. turned it off and still no crank from starter button. 3) wiggled shifter and put into first and back into neutral and all around while pressing starter button and still no crank. 4) wiggled wires at selenoid, starter button, clutch safety switch and still no crank. 5) pulled in clutch lever and it then cranked fine, and has every time since. it has acted up cold first thing in the morning (about 35 deg F), after five minutes in store on 90+ deg day, and anything in between. can any one help me with a suggestion or wiring diagram? what path is taken from starter switch to clutch safety switch to neutral safety switch to starter? Thank you.

it started when i pulled in the clutch, but it should have stared without pulling in the clutch. Since Friday it has started every time without pulling in the clutch, so i have not been able to verify that pulling in the clutch had anything to do with it starting or if it was just coincidently, just like when it would start by tapping on the starter.
