Default Can't find neutral

Pulling into my garage after a ride this morning on my 2005 Ninja 500R (192 miles), and I could not put the bike into neutral. I had been in neutral at the last stoplight I was at about 5 minutes before being in the driveway and I did not notice any problems.

Anyway, I tried to get it into neutral for about 10 minutes. It would either be in second or first. I got the bike parked and stopped and fiddled with it for another 15-20 minutes and I simply can't get the bike to go into neutral. Did I break it already? Any ideas?

make sure you all the way down into 1st gear first, might be trying to find neutral between 2nd-3rd.
are you rocking the bike back and forth when trying to find neutral ?

it's new, get a day off of work and ride for ten hours or so below the recommended RPM's for break in, once you hit 500 and then 1000 you'll notice it goes into gear much easier.

In the near future however, get it into first, or I prefer second, and just a baby tap to get it into neutral
