EX500R CDI box bad??

Hi. I am a newbee and need some help with my bike. Is there any way i can test the Ignition box on my EX500R from 94 to see if thats why it does not fire/ spark?? Wires/ plugs/ coils is ok.
Any help is a blessing.

Welcome

You need specilaised equipment to test the Igniter box, So the work around is to eliminate all else so there is no doubt that the Igniter is your problem

So we need i nice long explenation as to what you have tested and how.

~Plugs
~Plug Leads
~Coils
~Pulser Coil (Pick up)
~Safety Lockouts
~Dual Voltage and Earth to the Igniter
~Battery Voltage under cranking conditions
~All Block connections
~Ignition Switch
~Kill Switch

When you say your a Newbee........ Is it to this Forum or to Bikes in general ?

. I will pass this on to my buddy that works on the bike. I am gonna go get a service manual for the bike. That might help.

Ok, all lights on the bike is done. Now all it need is a spark. I bought the service manual for it and dropped it off at his house yesterday morning, hopefully that will help. I really dont know how he tested all the stuff but he is pretty good at working on bikes. He restores all kinds of bikes and sells them. I WANNA RIDE MY BIKE.
