Ok, here are my 2 wiring diagrams for the 2 models im hybriding. I want to adapt the J headlight to the G1 wiring.
![]() ![]() I bought the 02' headlight and to find to my dismay, it only has the electrical for the original single headlight. Can i tap both connectors into one? or would that be drawing to much power from the lines that are there? Thanks. |

Lights don't use/draw a lot of amp's like a motor or some other devices so adding one to the circuit shouldn't be a problem. I would put a Y in the line to add the other light. I prefer solder and heat shrink over the crimp connectors. Just to be on the safe side, put your lights on high and keep checking your +12 wire to see if it's getting warm or not. If you have access to the bike the lights came from, check the gauge of the wire it had going to the lights and compare it to yours.
