Still On The Kickstand

i just got my bike back from a tune up and now my fan dosnt work
the shop thought it is the switch but i replaced it with a used one a few hours ago and fan still dosnt work .when i take lead off fan switch and ground it you can hear the relay clicking.So what i whant to know is how to test fan itself or just run a toggle.the fan has 3 wire one looks like it grounds to the rad.and two it has connections in the plug so whats hot and whats ground also does any one know of a good aftermarket fan kawi what almost 500$ for a 12 volt fan thats just insane?!!

Is one of your wires black with a yellow stripe? If so, the other one is the "hot" wire. Ronayers.com wants $360 for the fan, still too much. Try the for sale section on this site and eBay. If you know anyone at an auto parts store maybe you could take your fan in and they could check for something that would work. I'd think one from some small import would be usable.
