Default What Holds the Valve Stem Oil Seal?

I am getting parts to do a valve job on a 1979 KZ 750. The Kawi service manual says to install the oil seal onto the valve stem and then put the "clip" on the seal.

The diagram has an arrow pointing to the center of the seal saying there's a clip there, but it doesn't show the clip as a separate piece.

Is there a metal ring clip to hold the seal to the valve guide?

What does hold the seal in place?

Thanks

The seal is speared to the valve stem with a spring squeezing the stem. The VALVE GUIDE is retained by a spring clip. The seal is retained to the guide by a lip of rubber in the seal. You will need NASTY pliers.

Is that spring clip supplied with the new seal?

The Kawi service manual says there is a clip, but the explosion diagram does not show one, not does it list it as a part. So, I have no way to order the clip.
