Oil and Fuel Indicator issue

Greetings Friends, I have an issue for (92 ZX11 Ninja) which I am looking for any thoughts you can throw at me. I had removed the fairings for some cleaning. Changed Oil and filled the Gas. After which I have been driving the bike for a few days for a half hour to 45 minutes. I start the bike and idle it for some time, no problems. The Oil and Fuel indicators are off. While I am in driving for say 30 minutes, the Oil and fuel indicators start flickering. They do not stay on continuosly.

My questions:
1. The worst case scenario that the Oil is low. I checked the oil through the Oil glass window and it looks at good level(slightly over the max limit).
2. The Fuel is all the way to full capacity.
3. Battery is charged (but needs to be replaced soon.)
4. Temprature Gauge stays at half point. Coolant looks good. Fan comes on once in a while.

What beats me is that these lights flicker only after around half hour of driving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a guess but if the bike continues to run good and both lights start to flicker at the same general time it sounds like more of an electrical problem as in a lose/dirty ground in the instruments.
