Help With 6000 Mile Service??

I have a 2004 Vulcan 500 and the odometer is 6100 miles. I ride all winter and changed the oil this past spring at 3000 miles. What should I be looking for with the 6000 mile service. I am pretty basic as a mechanic and will probably have the stealership do this service. Just want to know what will be best for my ride to keep me trouble free. Thanks!!!!

What does your owners manual say that it needs? If it needs valve adjustment, you may want to take it to the dealership.
