Quick exhaust question.

I have a stock 2003 Vulcan 800a. If I changed the exhaust (Vance&Hines straightshot) but don't modify the intake, do I need the rejetting kit?

I plan on purchasing a new intake system at a later time (and will have to rejet then anyway).

No MRL you don't need to rejet for pipes only . Don't let the dealer do it because he won't do it right anyway. The only thing you will have to do is back out the A/F mixture screw about a 1/2 of turn. You will have to drill out the cap covering the A/F screw but that's a piece of cake. If an when you rejet you will also want to get a 50 primary(doesn't come in any jet kit) to change as well.
