Default Gas in the air box

I have a 95' Vulcan 800 with aftermarket pipes and a K&N air filter.

It hasn't been running well lately. It hesitates at low rpm, also the front exhaust pipe is starting to turn blue more than the back. I have to run it with the choke on until it is completely warm.

I removed the air filter and found gas in the bottom of the air box.
What should I do?

Also, every once in a while at low speeds I hear a noise coming from the back wheel. Any clues with that much of a description?

It sat for about a year.

Where are the vents located? Or what are they called I'll look them up in my manual?

Do I need to take the carb apart and clean it also, or just start with the vents?

Thanks

air bleeds will cause this and you have vent lines all over your carbs. (they will be lines that go nowhere ,open lines) since its been sitting yes i would pull the carbs and make sure you dont have an varnish in the bowls/jets/on the needles etc.
