ok i got a kawasaki z750 retro bike here, its an inline four .. and i checked the valve timing and the ignition timing and all that, double checked it.. and its still lean, i reprogramed the injectors to the manufacturers specs, and its lean.. what it does is 3 are firing but the first one isnt really, i checked the plugs .. took the head apart, checked the valves the only thing i could see that was wrong with it is the codding pin in the piston had a little wear, but it still moved fine and everything, so i cleaned it up put it back in.. checked the cylindar for were, their wasent any.. it looked good, and it dident help.. so i got him to get new piston rings for the bike, so i red did the pistons all that again.. and its still lean
what could it be?
