Default How do you know if you got a bad fuel pump

Hello everyone I have a 99 Ninja ZX 6R In the past few days I have been having problems with my fuel getting to the carbs. First thing first I replaced the fuel line with the correct line because the other line had developed a kink in it. Today my bike did the same thing again just stop running do to no gas. The Question i have how do you know if the fuel pump is bad

    Thanks

T the line going to injectors and put fuel pressure gauge on it.
Crimp return line to tank while bike running and watch gauge.
Pressure should raise considerably when return line is restricted.

I am not 100% sure but I think your bike should have a vaccum petcock when my was doing that I had a Kink in the vaccum side going to the petcock.. If it doesn't have one sorry to waste your time

Everyone thank you for the help. Come to find out I had the air filter in upside down and dirt got into the system where I had to get carb cleaner and the bike is fine now
