I was in my local bike shop this weekend to pickup some 2-stroke oil for my 2000 KDX 200. I was talking to one of the salesman and he stated the mixture for this oil was 50-1. That seems really lean to me so has anyone used this and recommend this mixture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

While the synthetics can supposedly be run at leaner ratios, most people seem to say that they find increased wear on the cylinder wall and bearings when that is done. Personally, I'd stick with 32:1 or whatever you've been using, and enjoy not having to rejet the carb due to the difference in fuel flow.
