Went out to the garage this morning to find what looks to be 'oil' on my rear tire. It looks as though it has come from the drum brake as best I can figure...but I didnt think this was possible.
Seems to have dripped from the drum somewhere onto the rim and then down the tire, anyone ever hear of this?? BTW, its an 02 vn800a if that matters. Thanks! |

Being that there is no oil in your rear drum, I would say that it is traveling from your engine case back there. Clean it all up, spray foot powder on the whole underneath of the bike, and take it for a small ride. This will tell you where it's leaking at.
