Not bad although it's been too hot to enjoy riding. Heads soaking wet every time I put the helmet on. I bbq'd 5 racks of baby back ribs for all the guys at the Sat. night card game. They were nice enough to donate to my bike fund again but I don't think it had anything to do with the ribs.

Well I guess I'll jump in with the rest of you. LoudFastandUgly, I can't top you but I can join you. I worked for 32 years for a company as an in house tech on forklifts and OTR trucks. They specialized in hiring guys striaght out of high school. Well I have nothing against youth I was myself but man can they ruin a forklift. The worst was a fella who drove onto the dock with the forks all the way down on the floor with 'em tilted forward. Duh stuck them right under the dock plate and curled them like down into a twisted mess. We had to remove the dock plate to get it out of there and the forks were trashed. The mounting carriage was bowed from the impact. I won't talk about the cost of the parts to fix that mess but he was really upset when they wanted him to go for a drug screen test.
The funniest on of all though was on afternoon when another guy was moving steel coils into the sheetmetal department. He was on a 20,000 lb capacity truck. You know what it has to weigh to be able to lift that much weight. Anyway he's cruising down the aisle when one of our supervisors looking at his clipboard steps right out in front of him. He knows if he nails the brakes that the coils of steel will leave the forks a splatter the super, so he swings it left and drives it right through the block wall of the mens room. Just by good fortune no one was in there at the time. He took out the wall, two toilets and a urinal. He was into the rest room half way back the length of the safety cage before he could stop. Concrete blocks and mortar dust everywhere. The supervisor was just frozen in his tracks and speechless. It really makes you wonder why they drive so darn fast in an enclosed enviroment. I'll save the better tales of whoa for later. Nothing like reminicing with good people. Ride Safe everyone and keep the shiny side up.

Sorry I tend to wander off a lot....lol
I was curious why bike makers went from using the perfectly fine petcock, that had on/off/reserve with a simple tap, that never seemed to fail. To now using the POS vaccuum operated garbage that screws up on a regular basis? Why is it so they can sell more parts as they are always such junk, or what? Thanks

the code reader has to do a running test first and it won't run well enough to do a test.
TPS, MAF sensor and injectors have been replaced so far. was thinking that the fuel pressure regulator could be bad. hoping that it isn't the ECU.
