i bought a 84 200 kdx and have been fixing it up and have come across one problem, i have no mid-range power, i start out fine, then bog down for about 5 seconds or so before powering up any more, i thought this might be normal until a friend let me use his 84 kdx, and wow, what a difference. So now i am left with no clue what is wrong with my bike. It has a complete topend rebuild, the carb has been cleaned and set by the local shop, the muffler is clean, and the air filter is clean too. I have been told that the jets inside the carb may need replacing or adjustment, but i haven't got a clue as to where to get new jets as they are no longer stocked by kawasaki. It has also been suggested that a new carb may be needed, anyone have ideas on what to do?
