440Ltd rear turn signal question

will the rear turn signals from an 82 550 fit on an 82 440 ltd, if not, is there any other types of rear signals that will fit the 440, I need the post and light for the right side but cant find any anywhere, cept for 60 bucks at the kawasaki dealer... it would be cheaper to find salvage ones of some kind and replace them both but I don't really know what else would fit on the 440, i am new at this repair stuff.

Hi there!

If you're not in a hurry, I would try Used Auto Parts | Used Car Parts | Used Auto Parts Locator Service and see what shows up.

The "U NEED A PART" site actually submits your request(s) to a number of salvage places around the country. I was able to find a pair of original mirrors for my 1982 KZ305 through them, and I happen to know at least two of the places they send your request(s) to have a lot of Kawasaki motorcycles in their warehouses. I like new parts as much as the next guy, but I am a cheapskate and if good condition used parts are available, I'll go for that nearly every time.

I have been doing all kinds of searching trying to find the rear signals but I had stumbled across that locator site! I will give it a try, thanks a bunch Andrew!!!!

Wow, I just posted my question and looked over the site... this is a great site! and very easy to navigate. Thanks again for the info. I am thinking I am going to be using it a bunch while fixing up old Barney the Bike!
