Hello all,
I have a 2001 drifter 800 that I recently ordered a engine guard for. It finally came and after trying to install it, the bar appears to be defective, the floorboard attachment points fit fine but the attachment where the horn is located is off about 1/2" to one side and the bracket is crooked. This appears to have been made by COBRA. I purchased them online from scootworks. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have a return authorization number but the shipping cost is $47 to $59 depending on the shipper. Way too much for returning a defective $180 part. Anyone have a take off guard you wish to sell? Thanks Bob bikerbob@harbornet.com |
