91 250 ninja crankshaft
Hello Folks
I purchased a non running 91 ninja,it had a couple of bent valves.Got a head off ebay and assembled a good head from all the parts.Used an ultrasonic to clean the disassembled carbs.Got it all together put some new tires on it and rode around the neighborhood for awhile.Not knowing the history I changed the oil and filter 2 times in about 30 miles.My wife went to ride it to work the other day and it didn't make the 50 miles.About a mile short of the parking lot she said it lost power and made a 'funny' noise.Right side connecting rod has about an 1/8th inch of play.
Now checking 'BikeBandit' it seems that in the early models there were 3 different crank assemblies. Can anyone tell me if a crank from an 88 will fit my 91 or if I have any other options?
Anyone have any parts they'd like to sell?
