Help please.

I have a 99 ZX6R now after I bought this bike I have had it at the top end a few times, and there seems to be a bit of lag at about 7-8k revs, now I went to get on it after a week+ break, went out and it wouldnt do more than 50-60 and was having real trouble getting the rev's up.

Now luckily my next door neighbour races bikes so he knows more than me we stripped the tank of and such and he says the fuel pump isnt pumping when we switch it on, so he put another on he had and that was the same i went out and it was all the same, when i got back it cut out and now we cant start it, I have changed the fuel pump relay and no joy.

we can hot wire the pump and we can here it pump, which we have done and get the bike running.

Well not to make this thread too long to read ill stop there, its basically where we are, and we are stuck, with new FP relay and pump not switching on when ignition is switched.

Anybody help please.

P.s would I be able to bypass the relay and keep it going that way, it does turn itself of when the floats are full.
