Congrats, Mark. Just make sure to wipe down the scepter after you've used it to check the oil...don't want to leave the next person with the wrong idea about you....

You have to thank people that congratulate you. I tried to help you out with pics and such.
So tell me why my engine oil light came on after getting my POS running. It went 100 miles before it started. Oh! Too late! The 650 is turned upside and everything that has to do with the oil system has been scavenged! |

I thought we WERE your lovelife.
...hey I didn't say it was healthy, just an observation.

You guys are the family I can actually STAND. If I can impart any knowledge (or an occasional laugh) I'll stick around. Ah WTH. I ain't going anywhere. Squids a plenty to flame. New riders with a desire to learn will be helped as always.
I've been spending my time lately working on a friend's 2002 Sportster. Internally wired 12" apes and an NOS, 1982 Evel Knievel sissy bar from a Superglide. I'm trying to convince her to put in a 1200 kit. She rode her husband's 883/1200 (which I built last year) and it propelled her along JUST FINE (If you could call being shot out of a cannon just fine) When they get back from Americade (And I get back from the cb1100f.net ride) Then it's just maintenance until fall. Looking for another Buell. The one I owned for a month and five miles last winter was nice. |
