John, it works!!!!!!!!
Chaz and I both were pretty heavy smokers for many, many years!!! We tried everything, like the patch, the gum, etc.....and nothing worked. Then we tried Chantix (thanks to Ryan) and after only 5 days on the stuff, we smoked our LAST cigarette and haven't touched one since!!!! I have co-workers that used it with success too!!!!

Yes it does, just stay on it. Don't feel like you can have a smoke after a month or two. Just stick with it and keep your mind focused to quit. It's still hard to quit, but it does make it a bit easier.
