Beartooth Kawasaki Member of the Month for May 2008
Ryguy Name: Ryan Location: Bismark, ND Interests: Riding!!!! Also keeping a salt water aquarium, and rebuilding repainting bikes Occupation: Semi truck parts, and body work/painting Ryan's Bike Is: 2004 V2K Ryan's bike's modifications: ISO grips, Mustang seat, back rests, Iso dually highway pegs, and a Bright Orange Paint Job done my Ryan Himself When Ryan isn't discussing bikes, or current event's, or helping others sort out issues with their motorcycles, or building his new home in the Frozen Wastelands of North Dakota, he finds time to do a little goofing around with his own bikes. ![]() Ryan began his life here at the forum like any other member... He was interested in bikes, and soon found himself a steal of a deal on a Nomad, that he grew to love. ![]() It soon became apparent though, that Ryan isn't the type to leave well enough alone...especially when it comes to the color of his ride. Rest assured, no matter what color a bike is when he buys it, he will soon get the itch to change it to something else. And why not? Let's face it, the man does good work. ![]() But of course, bigger and better things await this restless rider of the north country. He soon found another Nomad that he fancied, and of course, he soon fancied painting it as well. ![]() But before he could paint this one, he was struck with an urge, a nagging itch, and that itch could only be scratched with 125 cubic inches of V-Twin Power. One test ride later and he was hooked, and the New Nomad was sold, and he was soon the proud owner of his very own V2K...and of couse, he wanted to paint it almost as soon as he got it. ![]() Not that it needed painting, it was already gorgeous. ![]() But Ryan had other ideas...of course. After swapping exhaust, changing luggage, and other bits and pieces, he finally gave in to his primal urges, and painted it. And the results are of course, stunning. ![]() ![]() Ryan is continuing the Mods, with the intention to create a unique theme bike, and we can hardly wait to see the final results. ...although, we know it may still not be enough, there's always the call of another bike...and the paint store. Ryan, you're a unique part of our community here at BTK, you bring a lot to the party, and we're glad you're here. Thanks for being part of our family.

CONGRATULATIONS RYAN!!!!!!!!
I must add another story in here about Ryan.....he was my inspiration and support when I quit smoking (3/23/07)!!!!!!! He shared his experiences with us all in here while trying the "new" drug Chantix. He raved about how well it worked. After commenting that I wanted to try it, he became my HUGE support system!!!! After Day 5 on the drug, I smoked my last cigarette!!!!! We later exchanged Guardian Bells as a symbol of our triumph over the smokes!!! Ryan, I will NEVER EVER forget that!!!! You saved my life buddy!!!! ![]() You honestly deserve this honor!!! |

Congrats Ryan and looking at all of the bikes you've owned I was amazed at how quick you got to a V2K.
Thanks for all of your inspiration and help with painting tips, etc. You do great work! How about an Orange Crush pic? |

Holy crap, who the hell is that ugly dude you voted in as MOM for July???
Thanks everyone. I didn't think I would make the MOM list... You must be running out of people LOL!!! But seriously I do appreciate it. I just try to help out as much as I can, but mostly I'm here meeting new people, and just hanging out with people that I know. I would really like to make Red Lodge one of these times to meet most of you. I am really hoping that I can make it out there next year!! My house projects just won't let me get there this year.
