I'll add this to the equation:
Look what happen to your boss. That potentially is your future if you try to learn to ride on that beast. Youtube is full of videos of guys letting some guy who has never ridden before learn to ride their GSXR, ZXR, RR or anything else that ends in "R" - which, BTW, stands for "racing". All those videos end the same way. It's just a matter of how much damage there is to the bike and how much the "student" gets hurt. That being said, that is a great deal on a bike you could put aside and work on in your spare time while you learn to ride on a cheap 250cc bike you pick up for $500-$1000, then sell later when you feel confident in your riding abilities. |
