Helmets?

i found one at a local dealer that the kid never picked up and he made a deal with me. he said it was a great helmet. It's a Large it fit, it was tight but I dont know if it was too tight.

Yay it's kind of stupid but kool. For a 100 bucks brand new it retails for alot more, cause it's been in there for 3 month or so since i live in the BonDocks. i just want to be safe. my heads worth alot to me.

Recommendations? It's not required to have a helmet but i feel safer with one.

I don't think I'll like it in three weeks. But I just want to be safe. and if Its a 100 bucks i can afford.

$100 isn't cheap if it doesn't fit properly... If you want to stick in that price range, look at Zamp helmets... I have an FS-2 that I paid $109 for which is DOT and Snell 05 approved... my only problem is that it is a tad heavy, which is why my Shoei is my primary helmet now....

You want your helmet to be a little snug brand new since the liner will break in with use. Check out this article for more details:

Like guitar said, snug is good....and most helmets have removal pads in them to adjust the helmet to fit you exactly also.

You can find a lot of different types of helmets for around $100. Don't limit your self buy thinking this is an amazing deal.

uh. why is that lid stupid? There are a couple riders on here that have that lid. Including me. Jerk. lol

Seriously though its a great helmet if it fits, put it on and it should fit snug enough to where if you move it side to side there is minimal movement same with up and down. Leave it on for about 15 minutes if you can and see if it gets uncomfortable. If you take it off after 15 minutes and you have a imprint on your head then it might be too small for you.

The helmets only goign to cost me 100 bucks. I don't think I can beat that price with a similar design. Whats yours look like?

I've ***** it before, its at the local dealer which conversationally does not carry motorcycle really, at least the ones i want. It's been there for 3 months, the kid that ordered it never came to get it. Wrote case, I get tired of the skulls i repaint it.

I got it because i also have the ICON Skull leather jacket and it only made sense to get that helmet for me. The link isn't working for me because my net sucks here in the desert but if its the black with white skulls.. which is the only design i know of with that particular lid then its the same one as mine.

Don't repaint it. Replace it if you don't like it. You can seriously compromise the shell integrity by repainting it.
