Body Kits

I am new to the whole bike scene other than dirt biking when i was younger. I just picked up a 1987 ex500a kawasaki for a $100. While in mint factory running condition I dont particularly care for the body style. Id prefer to update it to a newer style. Do any of you know where I could check or a price estimate on this? Perhaps a better question is can I even do it? Thanks.

Pyramid Plastics has some stuff for the 500R but I think 99% of it is identical to the stock plastic. Targa is another company who made stuff for that model in the past, but I'm not sure if they do anymore. I had a 500R and I looked into that sort of stuff before. I think your options are very limited to none.

You can also try AirTech. I know they have replacement panels specifically for the 500. You could also try ordering different plastics for it, and fabricating your own brackets. Just a matter of how much work you want to do.
