Looking for my 2nd set of tires for 2009.
I can relate. I put a front and rear on right after New Years and have replaced the rear again since.

4,700 so far. I am getting new tires next week so watch out. I ride with Knollinger at times so now I see I need to exclude him from a few rides.

4684 for me so far! I'm doin' a lot better than I thought I would! Gonna head over to the "darkside" in the next week or two and will have to put a lot of extra miles on the bike just learning how to ride with the CT.

June sure wasn't as good for me as I was hoping. The rain used up the first two weeks but I managed to squeak in a little over 3000 miles in the last two weeks. I now have 9273 miles on the old girl senses April 1st. I'm hoping to do a little better in the coming months now that the weather has finely straightened up. I have a 4000 mile 8 day trip planed for the last week in July. I sure hope I get to go on that one. We'll see.

Well let's see... first my street bike burned the valves, so at least I had the good sense to throw my dual sport in the ring and the damn thing has a CDI problem (working on fixing this first since it's less time consuming).
Between that and the rain, I've only racked up 1,500 or so miles. Normally, I'd be pushing 5k.
There's always next year.

Now I might go through a rear tire only cause knobbies tend to wear out pretty quickly.

Well what a better way to get in my 600th post... i've put in 952 so far. haven't ridden much b/c of the hit and miss rain, moving, getting settled.

But i've got a few more weeks of summer to go. school is almost out (aug 6, my 30th) and then i have two weeks off and have nothing to do but ride ride ride.

still can't believe i haven't hit 1000 yet... oh well, least im getting in my time and was able to jump in this year.

Randleman!! WooHoo, big city. You'll only be about 15 miles or so from me.

I'm at about 8100 for the race so far this year.

No, we're U-hauling all of our junk. Wish I could ride across though. Would be great, though sometimes boring in the west side of the country. Once you get mid-way there, it gets better and the sights are easier on the eyes. Not just brown boring-ness.

Up to 7,000 miles. But I am only a weekend rider and can't compete with the commuters too well.

7000 miles for the year or for the race? Either way you've done a lot more than most folks I know so quit beating yourself up!

I'm at about 8500 for the race, 10,500 for the year.

Didn't do so well last year. I am surprised by this year since it rained the whole month of June in NJ. I am definitely riding a lot more. Have to make up for all the days when it rained.

I may be too late to enter the ODO race, but I can still brag, right?

I bought my bike on 4/25/09, brand spankin' new... as of last nights read? 5212 miles on my new found joy! And that from someone who hasn't been on a bike for over 20 years, and even then, the bikes I rode weren't street ready. Iron Butt NOOB! heh

I'm so far behind it's not funny.
Can anyone loan me a head for a GPZ550 or a pulser coil for a XT550?
Cause I never thought to register the KE100, and lately, that's seen way more miles than either of the other two. I'm giving a whole new meaning to the saying "it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow". It's just not suitable for interstate highways.
