Only 2 weeks left!! Get those last minute miles in under the wire!! Did a little riding yesterday, got about 11,3xx miles for this year's race. I did 11,7xx last year so at least I'm consistent.

I was supposed to ride a nice ride today but it's the fourth day of rain. I am away next weekend so I will have no opportunity to put on any more miles before the end of the race. On a good note, I have around 11 K for the race which is not bad for a weekend rider.

Hoping it will stop raining here in St Louis Sat so I can get an odometer pic (and ride too, hehe). Officially the coldest wettest October on record here- it has really sucked. I think I'm at about 14.5k (started at 9k) so no chance of winning but hey 5.5k for the season not too bad considering how crappy and rainy it was here all summer.
I miss my bike!!!

Today will be the last riding of the month for me too. If I can ride 400 miles I will have 9K for the race. Way better than it was just a week and a half ago. I was still in the 7's then. When do we get the super password for our final pictures?

OK, it is time to start thinking of the end of the race. We need to have our pics posted prior to midnight central time on October 31.
The pic should have the word "frustration" on it. (Mainly due to my feelings at this time....) I'll post the winner after that when I get a chance.

Ok I am officially done for the race. I had to ride over 400 miles today to break my personal best, but no where near winning. I broke 9K miles. 9036 Total for the race.

I never enter to win anyway. It's nice to have a convenient record of what I've ridden for the summer. I'll end up near, maybe a bit short of, 11,500 miles for the race, maybe 13,000 for the year. Not too bad, I did 16,0xx last year. But there was the excitement of having a new bike then too. |

Here is mine. 11,026 for the season. Happy with that. Much better than last year (6,032) and not bad considering I am a weekend rider (Sundays mostly) and this season didn't get out too much due to all the rain. A guy in my local group did over 33,000 this summer. Next year I will try for 20,000.
