At the moment...I think I did 1k so far...but hopefully I'll start putting in the miles. Just did 300 for the May ride. I'm slow at the moment. Maybe won't do as well as the 10k I did last year.

Yeah, me too. I rode very little in April. I may hit 10K for the year but I doubt I'll do it for the race again this year.

Actually, because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't win regardless. I plan to put maybe 10k miles on it this year, but there's others who do far more.

Dood, what's the fun in that? The joy is in the journey, not in the destination! Dammit man, get with the program!!

I'm just over 1900 now with about 1000 miles planned for the Memorial Day weekend. I bought my bike 12-12-08 with 3667 on the odometer.... it shows 8107 now. Not too bad considering we've only been in "riding season" for about 1 1/2 months.

I'd be doing a whole lot better if I could get my street bike running.
I did manage to cross the 1,000 mile mark on the enduro. I've only owned it since June. However, up until yesterday, I was riding dirty no inspection. Now that I've got a sticker on the fork, I can go anywhere! Still, a giant thumper isn't as much fun as an inline four on the highway. Top speed 95 mph! My girlfriend's 450 can out run me by more than 10 mph. At that's assuming I can handle that dirty grunt at 95 mph.

I wish I would have entered last year. Rode almost every day from March till mid-october and then for two more weeks in November, over 11,000 miles.
Sure, I may not have won, but an honorable mention would have been nice.

It rained a few weekends so not as good as I had hoped. I am at 1,786 since we started. But I will be putting on miles over the summer, especially when I ride down to NC. If it was sunny every weekend, I would never get anything done in the house.

I'm making the journey, just not racing anyone else! They'd probably beat me!

In September. I am going to Tame the Dragon. Here is a link to my planned journey. Supposed to meet NCDave and his crew for dinner on Sept. 17th in Robbinsville, if he doesn't blow me off (that doesn't sound right, does it?).

Multi Day Trip to the Tail of the Dragon - The Central Jersey Motorcycle Riders Group (Woodbridge, NJ) - Meetup.com

No, I won't buy you lunch. Won't be able to afford to on this trip. Unless I win the lottery. Then I will buy you lunch with all the trimmings.

Ah yes, Robbinsville. I remember Dave's trip from last year. I doubt I'll make it. Money's gettin' scarce 'round these parts. It seems sometimes I can't even afford to buy my own lunch!

Well......May is coming to an end and so far I have gone 6189 miles sense the first of April. That puts me 1192 miles ahead of where I was last year at this time. The planed rides I have for June amount to a little over 4000 miles. It is looking like this might be a good year after all.

Welp, here we are in July with 3 months of riding time behind us and 4 months to go, and I was wondering how everyone's doing. Here's me for a total of 4922 miles so far for the race and 6968 miles since Jan 1.

5656 for the race and 8205 for the year so far, although a boat would have been better for New Jersey last month.....LOL
Looking for my 2nd set of tires for 2009.
