Blame it on the EPA.
Kawi and Honda went to liquid cooling from the git-go on their V-Twins.
Yamaha is FINALLY converting with the new V* models.
Eventually Harley and Victory will be forced into liquid cooled engines.
The V4 is far more efficient than a V-Twin... less mass in the piston, smaller surface area for a more efficient and cleaner burn, etc...
The Royal Star has a V4... 1100cc and it will absolutely SMOKE anything in it's class other than the Victory Vision.
