I think i have major bike problems...my son finally brought it home yesterday and when i took it out last night it has this major ticking/clicking noise and when you change gears it has a clanging sound and there is a knocking noise in the front end!! i think i'm just going to have to buy a new one!!

ok seriously----300 pages of posts--almost 6000----all started BY A FREEKING DONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really guys.....WTF is your obsession with the donkey? i dont understand it!!

of course not! well, i will say there has always been a small clanging sound when changing gears but never when downshifting, now there is a really loud clanging sound whether going up or down. i just got it out of the shop the day before he took it having the rear brake worked on.

There as good as my technical words

Sounds like your boy is gonna his momma a new bike!

I'm wondering if the clutch has issues...the clanging sound when changing gears...does it come with any sort of "feeling"? Like it's harder or softer to shift than it used to be?
