Thumbs up End of MSF...the ladies came on strong

Well, day two was nothing like the first day. The ladies all seemed to have it together and had lost their bike bunny glare. They were riding serious and much improved from day one. There were still the long waits for some of the ladies to discuss with the instructors what they were doing wrong, but I was having a worse day than day one myself in some respects.

I really admired the ladies who seemed to be doing a lot better. By the end of the day only one of our women had failed to pass the riding evaluation. By 1 point!! We all tried to encourage her to come back for the advanced course to get her license, but she seemed defeated.

It was really an interesting course, and maybe I just judge things differently, but I feel as though more ideas for improvement could have been given out by our instructors. Maybe I just wasn't getting it.

Oh yeah I passed.

Maybe when I recover from my sun burn I will get out and get some more real world expreience in a less restrictive setting.

And the ladies......let's just say one had the lowest evaluation score, and I didn't think she was suited for riding a bike.

I'm not sure if anyone else failed as a few people just left after they received their breifing. I think it was pretty much a 90% pass or better class though. It's kind of a shame to make a few freinds that could be riding buddies for 3 days and then never see them again. Anyone know of a site for MSF course graduates?

Well, now what to do next? Oh yeah, get out and ride.

Al

Good job Al. Try some Aloe Vera for that sunburn.

Exchanging names and numbers while at a course is one way to hook up later with some of the people. Some people shy away from that as they feel they need more time and don't want to hand out their number to relative strangers while others are glad to have passed and would give their number to just about anyone.
