Default New to forum, I sell motorcycles, looking to get Ninja 250

Hey guys what's up. I'm new to the forum. I work for a company that sells motorcycles/scooters/atv's from China. I'm looking at getting a Ninja 250. The motorcycles we have now are even smaller and tamer than even a 250 Ninja. If you know anyone looking at something even safter for a beginner bike we have a 125 scooter, 150 enduro, and 250 cruiser available. Our website is www.qjdistribution.com Stuff is crazy cheap and I can give you guys an even better deal personally. We're more of a distributor to dealers than a retail sales shop. The company we buy from actually makes a sport bike that looks like a copy of the Ninja 250 but its only a 150. We have yet to get any in the U.S. so I haven't got to check them out yet but my dad has seen them and taken pics in China. There is a 2003 Ninja 250 for sale locally with 800 miles, green, looks brand new, asking $2,500. Good deal? I'm thinking of just getting a brand new 2004 in blue.

well it sounds like a great deal to me. I've heard from many experienced 250 owners to buy used. But I bought a new one because I have been plauged with problems from cars and I couldn't afford a bike with a problem of any kind.

I'd buy the used one simply due to cost... new runs about $3500-$4000 depending on how badly the dealer wants to siphon money from your wallet.

The 250 is a very reliable tough bike so buying used isn't much different from new. As long as you check it for the usual signs...

There's my opinion...

I drove a 92 Yamaha FZR 600 yesterday and it was awesome. First sportbike I'd ever ridden. Now I'm definitely going with a Ninja 500 or a 600cc bike, no 250 for me. I thought it was going to be a lot crazier than it was, bring on the big bikes I'm not scared.

Default 500cc

well I have a 500cc bike I really like it Not too powerfull but enough engine to wanna way more than 65 mph on the freeway!

I though the same thing. When I took my msf course I though hey 125s are very powerful! So I started looking for 250s but I test rode a few and decided for a 500cc bike. I have to say I made the right choice here! I hope you do the right choice as well so you dont feel underpowered, or over powered!

Glad to see another person riding!

FZR's tanks are long, and short peeps like me are very uncomfy on it... it feels like your stretched out reaching for the handlebars
