Whatever happens we really need to try and get B.T. to Red Lodge, so if you are planning on going try and time it so you can get B.T.

Ok, BT is on the move yet again!!! He'll be in the mail directly. Congrats to his new host!

And BT wasn't the only one who had fun! We had a wonderful morning together - the three, rather four (sorry Kitty) of us.

We should make sure that the next person to get him must be headed to Red Lodge!

Ok, so my paranoia has cost us some time. I sent B.T. via UPS to be able to track him should he get lost. I couldn't bear the thought of losing our mascot! So, he'll be at his new place on the east coast in a few days. So, don't give up on this thread! Patience, Grasshopper.

Yes, I know, over-cautious move on my part. My humble apologies. But, if he gets lost, we'll know where to find him. If he doesn't make the RL rally, maybe he can make the DOD rally. Anyone going to Sturgis? But, if his next stopping place is overseas, well.....

Have fun with your new host, B.T.!

Ok, so I changed B.T.'s travel options. He will arrive much earlier, but we can't track him. I felt that time was of the essence. And I really need to learn to trust the postal service.

BTW, the lady at the UPS Store was REALLY nice and chuckled at the story of B.T.

Thanks for your patience. I have great trouble with being decisive. Well, sometimes I do. No, I usually always do. Well, mostly.................

That's part of what's going to make this SO FUN!!!

IIRC, Red Lodge is the 9th-10th of July... lots of time for him to go to both rides if it works out that way!!!

I've been trying to hunt down a cat or dog GPS locator for BT, It would be great if you could actually follow his physical progress via a web page.

Anyone know more than me about this stuff?

Yeah, we got several quizzical looks and a few questions as we were taking photos. It was a lot of fun!

Hey, if we can't figure out the GPS, could we at least post a world map and indicate where B.T. has visited? Kinda like little e-pushpins.

Using Google maps it's quite easy to keep track of the places he has been.

from:Graham, WA to:Seattle to:Spokane, WA - Google Maps

If we could get the html code turned on for this thread we would be able to embed the maps in his travel posts.

BT has made himself a personal map.

He sent me the link.

BT Donkey on the Road - Google Maps

You should be able to click on the BTs and then the link to the relevant posts.
