    Default Vietnam War

I know this is not related to the cruiser focus, but I thought I would tell all that Australia has finally recovered the remains of the last two Australian soldiers who were missing from the Vietnam war. Persistance pays off and I hope that the US government never gives up on those still missing from that conflict, or sadly, other conflicts.

Glad they made it home. I doubt we'll bring home any more to the US. Not a priority for very many in government.

On a similar topic, I got this off of the Delphi MC Trailer forum:

Forty years too late, but still a good idea.

"A recent announcement from the commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., seeks to right a great social wrong from the 1970s.
Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Schloesser stated a Welcome Home ceremony for Vietnam veterans will be held at the fort at 2 p.m. Aug. 16.

There is an article in the Omaha World Herald about a woman who kept pressure on the Govt./Military to find her brother who was shot down in 1965.
Recently his copter was found and she got some remains and his dog tags.
The main point of the article was that families should never quit pressuring for answers, and it was a testament to her perceverance.
