An old man, a boy & a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey & the old man walked.
As they went along they passed some people who remarked it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy was riding. The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Then, later, they passed some people who remarked, 'What a shame, he makes that little boy walk.' So they then decided they'd both walk! Soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying how awful to put such a load on a poor donkey. The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decide to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral of the story? If you try to please everyone, you might as well... KISS YOUR A$$ GOODBYE!!! ![]()

i hate to see a guy crash in an embarassing situation, but it was funny. i hope his nice shiny new bike wasn't too badly damaged. filtering through traffic is perfectly legal here, but it kinda helps if you can control your bike at slow speeds ![]() |

How's life, Jeff? Staying late at work tonight, but about to bail and go hang with some friends.

hey Marty.
no, no date with Emma tonight. we spoke on the phone though, which probably wasn't toooo wise as it won't help her throat much, but it sounds sexier like this. kinda like in Friends, when Phoebe get's a cold and then sings so much better... whatcha been up to today buddy? getting closer to finalising the sale of your properties etc. or is that all sorted and just waiting for you to find somewhere to live? |

Countering, eh? Sounds like someone's trying to stove off your deal. Better sink 'em quick before it starts to grate on your nerves! Be careful though, you might start blending politics and banking, never a good idea. You just have to mop up the competition - but you may end up baking their noodle.
