Talking Funny poster found in elevator

I found this in an elevator at a local Senior's Building yeterday.
I especially like the part refering to the "someone in Seattle".

Someone was stuck in our elevator at work for several hours because the security guard on duty thought it was a joke when they used the phone in the evelator to call. To say the least he no longer works here.

From the appearance of your avitar, you might have been deprived of oxygen during your extended stay in the elevator.

I try to avoid three types of people in elevators:

1) The cell phoner chatter - I don't want to listen to some guy's conversation endlessly should we become stuck (or his failed attempts at getting reception).

2) Anyone who smells like smoke or actually is smoking.

3) Anyone woman who looks REALLY pregnant.

All of the above are folks I would hate to be with should I become stuck.

In college during a Thanksgiving break, I agreed to monitor an 1100 student dorm while all were gone. During my "rounds" to inspect the building during the break, I was marooned on an elevator that caught on fire (the motor on top of the cabin) during my rounds. I QUICKLY used my key to open the door and was allowed to make the decision to crawl up to the floor 4 ft above or jump down to the next floor 5 feet down, failing to do either of which would result in me falling 11 stories down the elevator shaft. Needless to say, my kids are scarred for life related to elevator operations.

I'm a fast runner (unfortunately like a cheetah - fast in the sprint, but lacking endurance) - I'd be away from there like a shot. I'm also not afraid to use the stairs or wait for the next car.

Actually on my last research assignment before taking my current forum watching assignment, the supreme leader had placed me in the deeeeep south of Louisiana for 20 years. Though my ability to properly capture the southern accent we all hear badly spoken from hollywood and tv land, I am one who can sense the texas drawl, the mississippe/alabama draw, the eastern tennessee/western carlolina nasely twang and the southern loisisiana cajun slur. Oh yeah, I know the difference.

Especially at work. Our elevators are the slowest on the planet. I don't think I could hold my breath for three stories in those things - one reason why I prefer to take the stairs (the slowness thing, not the farting thing - but that might play a role, too).

Heh, kinda similar to myself. I attended school for awhile at the University of Limerick and now I can tell you what county a person is from in Ireland just by the sound of their accent.

But yeah when did us Seattle people develop an accent?
