hmm... no one has been this bad over a 3 game stretch since 1981. DA is awful and he has never looked worse then he has with under this regime and for Mangini to not even acknowledge that there needs to be a change at QB for this long is laughable. The guy has given away talent and received nothing in return. He has received career back ups and plugged them into the starting lineup. He is a clown.

Usually you try to bring in an improvement when you hire a new coach. Instead Lerner brought in a guy who was 0-2 against the guy he fired. Then they have the balls to fire Kokinis when he is the only guy with any real pedigree. Who do you think was evaluating talent in the background for the Ravens while Ozzie was up front getting all the love?

Mangini shunned Kokinis from the very beginning. How can you fire a guy who you let have no say?

With all due respect to the ones who have said they guy needs a chance to get his system and his guys, i agree... though that is just a respected cookie cutter excuse. When the leaders on your team, say openly and repeatedly that they have no idea where this team is headed because the coach doesn't share philosophy (by the way the owner has said this too) then everyone isn't headed to the same goal. When the players don't respect you because of your nonsensical methods, your twisted web of deceit and lies then you are basically a dead man walking. Just because you have been under a regime with success doesnt mean you can act like a head case and alienate everyone. You have to earn the right to be a special kind of ***hole like Belichek or Parcells, Mangini thinks he can treat management, personnel and players like he is entitled to greatness.

He makes incredibly questionable decisions on the regular. Much like Crennel and Weis, he is a good coordinator and bad head coach. He had 3 years in NY and couldnt hack it, i dont have the patience to sit thru 3 here.

I think you need to get a guy you believe in and ride it out with him for a few years, however from everything we have seen out of Mangini i dont think he's the guy. The fans are the only thing this franchise can depend on... and the first thing he did was alienate them.

and no Pat, I'm not going to jump to that awful team... but I do wish that Lerner would have a sit down with the Rooney's and find out how to run a franchise.

I want Shanahan, Cowher, Schottenheimer, Gruden... hell I would consider Billick... but we deserve one of the first couple....

What's sad Chris, is that I was just thinking the other day that even Billick would be an improvement over this clown!
