I once had to let a guy go because the reserve officer riding with me couldn't demonstrate the one leg balance test due to an inner ear infection he didn't know about. I could not in good conscious arrest him for failing a test my partner could not perform. Somehow the guys keys accidently got locked in his trunk so he had to call his wife for a ride.

actu, that was probably justice, I am betting his wife kicked the crap outta hom a lot more than the police could have, especially if she had to get up and get dressed to pick him up
